Ring face design
The top of the ring face features the Astros' signature "H" logo, composed of custom-cut orange and blue zircons and 11 rectangular zircons. These 11 diamonds symbolize the Astros' rich championship history, including five American League West titles, four American League titles and two World Series titles.
The golden edge of the star is inlaid with 71 circular zircons, representing the new MLB record of 71 strikouts set by the Astros during the World Series.
The logo is surrounded by 117 zircons, representing the Astros' 117 victories in both the regular season and the playoffs.
The outer edge of the ring face: The outer edge of the ring face is surrounded by 42 circular blue zircon stones, which has multiple historical significances. In 1980, the Astros lost to the Phillies in the National League Championship Series and it was 42 years later that they managed to take revenge successfully. After coaching the Astros for 42 playoff games, Destie Baker Jr. won his first World Series championship as a Major League head coach. 2022 marks the 75th anniversary of baseball legend Jackie Robinson's historic MLB debut in 1947, when his iconic number 42 retired from Major League Baseball.
On both sides of the top of the ring face: 22 emerald-cut zircons are set on both sides of the top of the ring face to commemorate the 22 points scored by the Astros in the World Series.
The top edge of the ring face: The top edge of the ring face is set with 60 circular zircons to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Astros, a milestone.
The side of the ring
On the left: The players' surnames and jersey numbers are presented in raised platinum characters, while the jersey numbers are highlighted in contrasting gold and inlaid with white zircon. Detailed images of Minute Maid Park can be seen in the background. The two orange and blue zircons in the left background commemorate the two no-hitters the Astros pitched in 2022, including the historic no-hitter against the Phillies in Game 4 of the World Series.
The right side: The right side is crafted from gold and inlaid with 29 zircons, indicating the champion year 2022. The Commissioner's trophy is also made of gold, with a unique zircon on top, representing the team's first World Series championship won at home in Houston. The bottom of the trophy is also inlaid with six zircons to commemorate the Astros' six consecutive appearances in the American League Championship Series. Two blue zircon stars, one orange and one blue, are fixed on both sides of the trophy, representing the Astros' two World Series victories in history.
The interior of the ring: The interior of the ring is highlighted by the Astros lettering located above the opponent's logo and the playoff series results. Each player's signature offers a personalized feel that can be found on the inner palm of their rings. The 2022 team slogan "LEVELED UP" (like "Mission Accomplished") appears on the outer palm of the ring.
